Ultimate frisbee

I started playing ultimate frisbee again last week after a one year lay-off.

I realized two things:

1) I am getting older (note, that does not say old. If anyone wants to challenge me on that, I can pretty much guarentee that I'm younger than most of you :-)

2). As a result of getting older, I get winded very easily, and get very achy.

That being said, I had a great time, and enjoyed pushing myself to try a very active sport (rather than just walking or an easy bike ride). For those of you unfamiliar with the game, it basically plays like football:

You set up a field with two endzones. One team throws the frisbee downfield to the receiving team. Players can throw the frisbee within one step. If the disc is dropped or deflected, the other team takes possession. A point is scored when the frisbee is thrown and caught in the endzone.

It involves accurate throwing (which I'm good at), and a great deal of running (which I'm not so good at).

Hope I can keep this up.

But I can guaran-damn-tee that you're in much better shape than I am.

I suck at Frisbee. And every other sport in the universe. :)

I want to get better at frisbee. Maybe Chris will entertain me this summer and catch a few. It's such good exercise.

He may be old, but Mr Swami could probably take you because of that whole born athlete thing he has going on.

Hey! Name the field where you play and I'll send my evil sister to watch! She likes to watch good looking guys sweat.
