...is over.
Been a hectic few weeks, with the start of school (work gets considerably busier), a trip to Newfoundland (which was awesome) and just general craziness that encompasses my life. I was going to post something more serious or deep, but let's reflect on my vacation instead. We went for 2 weeks. I could have stayed for many more.
IMHO, if you ever get the opportunity to go to St. John's, Newfoundland? Go.
An amazing city in an amazing place.
Here's a beautiful girl overlooking a beautiful harbour:

One of my artsy-fartsy landscape shots:
The lighthouse at Cape Spear, the most easterly-point in North America
A salt-box house overlooking the ocean
Fishing boats at Petty Harbour just outside of St. John's

Well it's about time! :P
Beautiful pictures Meemo! I'm so glad you all had a great trip.
Your photos are lovely, Meemo. Just lovely!
I have always wanted to go to Newfoundland. Actually, I want the whole Maritime Provinces experience, including the Bay of Fundy.
Thanks for the compliments on the photos.
This was my first trip to the (north) east coast, and I definitely want to go back. I could realistically see myself living in St. John's (although I was there during good weather...my opinion might change after spending a winter there!).
I'd love to explore more of the maritimes.
I like your artsy landscape pic!
Looks beautiful. And yeah, winter there scares me.
Gorgeous pictures, especially your daughter. Makes me want to visit Newfoundland, too.
One of the girls I work with spent last winter in St. John's working on her MBA at Memorial University. From the emails I would get every second day when she was snowed in, my guess is that you might not enjoy it so much. *grin*
The Caribbean it's not.
Beatiful photos! Thank you for sharing. It's good to see your blog updated. :)
Tell my little friend that Glow in the Dark says "hi". That's a gorgeous picture.
